Documentation
Definition
You can define release versions on header, item or transaction levels for production orders.
The release version is the version at the time of the release.
If production orders are changed quite often during your work, the target and actual values will align more and more so that the target/ actual deviation will no longer be correctly calculated. By using the release versions, you can counteract this problem.
If you have defined a release version on the header level, the following key figures will be updated from the communications structures:
- order finish date
- order start date
- scheduled release date
- scheduled finish
- scheduled start
- release date plan
- total scrap quantity order
- total order quantity
