Documentation
Definition
specifies the maximum number of attempts to post an IDoc in a application.
The field is relevant only for message types where the application provides corresponding administration functions.
When posting an IDoc to an application, error situations may occur that can be handled by calling up the application function once more (e.g., lock situations). After a certain number of attempts you have to find another solution to handle the error (manual processing).
