Documentation
Definition
You can use the mail indicator to notify employees about situations and messages that occurred in time evaluation.
The mail indicator is downloaded to the time recording subsystem with the employee's HR mini-master.
Examples
When particular messages have been issued in time evaluation, you want employees to receive a message asking them to contact their time administrator.
Use
Only one mail indicator can be downloaded to notify the employee.
If time evaluation issues more than one message with different mail indicators (such as 3 and 5), the mail indicator with the highest value is downloaded - in this case, mail indicator 5.
The SAP system downloads a mail indicator to the subsystem regardless of whether you enter one in this field. If the field is blank or contains a 0, the system downloads mail indicator 0 to the subsystem. If you want to change this default, see SAP Note 87232 for more information.
Procedure
If required, enter a one-digit number (0-9).

Dependencies
To be able to display messages at the time recording terminal, your subsystem must support the functionality.
