Definition
Number that identifies a rate step. This number is assigned internally when you create rate steps.
Use
The logical number of the rate step is a link between the rate step and the schema step. If you change a rate step, this immediately affects the schema.
Examples
- Inserting a rate in a schema
Effect on schema: a schema step is created automatically for each rate step. The rate step data is only displayed in the schema and cannot be changed there.
- Changing an operand in a rate step
Effect on schema: all changes are automatically effective in the schemas in which the rate is used.
- Deleting a rate step
Effect on schema: the rate step is automatically deleted from all schemas in which the rate is used.
- Adding new a rate stop to a rate
Effect on schema: you must change all affected schemas manually.
