Definition
Specifies the number of days the billing period of the secondary installation can differ from the billing period of the primary installation.
Use
When installation groups are billed, the billing period of the primary installation and those of the secondary installations must be consistent. The data exchange between installations only produces useful results if the installation billing periods are consistent (within certain tolerances). You can use the Billing Interval of Secondary Installation Before the Meter Reading Date and After the Meter Reading Date to determine how much the billing periods are allowed to differ from each other.
Dependencies
Note:
- A smaller interval means that the billing data from the primary and secondary installations can be compared more effectively.
- However, a small interval also means that all installations in the installation group must be read within a correspondingly small interval.
Example
Example 1:
- You select the following values for the intervals:
Interval before the meter reading date = 2 days
Interval after the meter reading date = 5 days
- You then bill the primary installation. The end of the primary installation billing period is June 15.
- As a result, the end of the billing period for the secondary installations must be between June 13 and June 20.
Example 2:
- You select the following values for the intervals:
Interval before the meter reading date = 0 days
Interval after the meter reading date = 0 days
- You then bill the primary installation. The end of the primary installations billing period is June 15.
- As a result, June 15 is the only permissible date for the secondary installation billing periods.
