Definition

Specifies that during the scheduling of planned orders scheduling based on takts from Sequencing determines the dates. In other words, lead time scheduling does not overwrite the planned order dates in the routing or rate routing, which were determined in scheduling based on takts. Lead time scheduling is only used to generate capacity requirements and the corresponding dates.

Dependencies

  • In scheduling based on takts capacity requirements are only generated for scheduling levels for which you have set the CapReqmnts indicator. The dates of the capacity requirements depend on whether you have also set the Scheduling indicator in the relevant scheduling levels:
    • If it is not set, then the capacity requirements are given the dates that were determined in scheduling based on takts, the planned order dates.
    • If it is set, the capacity requirements are given the dates, that were determined in lead time scheduling.
    • Note that the dates determined inscheduling based on takts and those determined in lead time scheduling can be different.
  • If you set the scheduling based on takts indicator, the basic dates of the planned order are not adjusted during lead timne scheduling and finite scheduling. The system automatically makes the corresponding settings in the Adjust scheduling section of the screen, when you choose Enter or save. You cannot change these settings as long as the indicator is set.
