Indicates whether the use of materials of this type is allowed or forbidden.
- If the indicator is activated, you can use materials of this type.
- If the indicator is deactivated, the system performs the following actions:
- The system hides the corresponding fields in the material master.
- The system deactivates the corresponding checks.
Dependencies
If you are not using materials of this type, you should deactivate the indicator. If you do so, this gives you the following benefits:
- Shorter runtimes
- More straightforward material master maintenance
- You can activate the indicator again at any stage.
If you deactivate the indicator, the system checks whether materials of this type are already being used as a reference material. In this situation, the system displays a where-used list and you cannot deactivate the indicator.
