The customer who orders the goods or services. The sold-to party is contractually responsible for sales orders.

Use

If the release order check for the partner is activated in Customizing, the system checks whether the partner entered in this field is authorized to release orders. To qualify for this authorization, the partnter must have either partner function SP (sold-to party) or AA (sold-to party contract release order) in the referenced contract.

Procedure

Enter the number of the partner who wants to release an order for the goods. The system checks whether this partner can release orders for the contract. If rule A is set in Customizing for release order check, then you can search for the authorized partner using the contract number.
