Definition

This field in the iPPE resource is for linking iPPE to Overhead Cost Controlling.

You can maintain a reference to CO master data , such as Cost Center/Activity Type or Business Process, by selecting the corresponding master data. When you assign this CO master data to an iPPE resource, the iPPE resource is given a price and is taken into account during costing and backflushing.

You have various selection options. If you select

• Cost Center/Activity Type, you generate an assignment without a specific time limit between the production resource and the cost center/activity type.
• Business Process, you generate an assignment without a specific time limit between the business process and the production resource.
• Cost Center/Activity Type: Time-Dependent, you can enter various dates in the Valid from field for the assignment between the cost center/activity type and the production resource. The system uses the chronologic sequence of these entries to calculate the effectivity periods.
