Definition
A fixed asset has a venture attached to it through a cost object on the fixed asset master record. By default, when posting to this asset, the cost object is as well captured in the fixed asset line of the FI document (BSEG). Cost Accounting is not posted, because the fixed asset control account (usually) is not a Cost element. A warning can occur on such a posting, which can be suppressed by CO.
If you check this flag, the CO object is not captured on the fixed asset line of the FI document and is not available for reporting. The joint venture info (Venture, equity group, recovery indicator) is still available.
