Documentation
Definition
An event is used to trigger activities. Event determination takes place when creating or changing order items. For example, if an event takes place gifts can be added to the item.
Example
The reader is to be sent a gift by way of thanks when a gift transfer is created in the system. The system determines the campaign framework for to the event "gift transfer" and determines the gift assigned. If it is not possible to determine a gift clearly, the user must select the appropriate campaign framework or gift on a selection screen.
Examples of further events:
- Creating a new original item
- Creating a charitable transfer
- Renewing a subscription when an incoming payment is received
- Changing the payment method
- Changing the billing arrangements
- Changing the delivery type
- Restarting an item after termination
