Definition

Specifies a proposal value for the production version of the components group material.

Use

The production version defines a production method according to which the material can be produced. It defines the following:

• the BOM alternative for the BOM explosion
• the task list type, the task list group and the group counter for the assignment to task lists
• the lot size restrictions for repetitive manufacturing

Dependencies

Within the JIT process, the components group material and its production version are simply for controlling purposes (line assignment, storage location determination, BOM for components list). No stock posting or other PP or SD functions are carried out on the components group material level.
