Definition

Interest rate elasticity describes the change in the product interest rate in relation to the change in the interest rate on the money and capital market.

The elasticity usually falls in the range of 0 and 1. However, the system also permits an elasticity that is above the value of 1.

If you do not enter the elasticity, even though you defined in the planning variant that the interest rate for simulated transactions is to be calculated with elasticity, the system assumes an elasticity of 0.
