The equity ratio is the proportion of equity to total capital.
This is a valuation-dependent key figure that is used to assess the financial stability and independence of a company.
The equity ratio is calculated as follows:
Equity capital x 100

The equity ratio should be at least 20 %, and in the case of a negative pledge clause, at least 30%.
