Documentation
The interest revenue is the interest amount of an asset transaction in a reporting period.
Use
You can choose from the following alternatives by means of the costing rule:
- Interest contribution from effective capital. The interest contribution is calculated from the effective interest rate of the transaction in relation to the effective capital in the transaction currency. The effective interest rate for the calculation is determined using the AIBD procedure. The interest contribution for the period comprises the total interest contributions per calculation segment. The calculation segment is determined by the payment date of the cash flow or by the costing key date.
- Interest contribution on a daily basis. The interest contribution is calculated as the total of the daily interest contributions in transaction currency. The calculation can either be carried out at the end of the reporting period or between two reporting periods.
- Interest contribution as an average calculation. The interest contribution is calculated by valuing the average volume for the reporting period in transaction currency with the average interest rate of the transaction. The calculation can either be carried out at the end of the reporting period or between two periods.
You can also transfer the interest revenue as part of the general data transfer.
