Definition
Controls whether the retirement date fro PBE is counted (and therefore missing hours automatically generated and filled) when you execute the filler calendar for PBE function. The only prerequisite is that at least one unit of activity has been entered in a PBE oroperator's report in the period of time that the equipment item was on the site.
If no PBE report has been entered, then equipment activity is settled in accordance with the shipping document (in other words, as a time- based equipment), irrespectively of whether the PBE as TBE indicator is set or not.
The retirement date is the actual date when the equipment item is removed from the construction site. If several changes of activity type take place on the construction site after the equipment item has been sent there, then the last day of the change of activity type is NOT taken as retirement date for SD settlement. The equipemt item is settled normally.
Use
Only for internal settlement and even then only when the filler calendar for PBE is used, otherwise only the actual activity units are settled.
Actual activity units are only ever used in external settlement.
Note:
PBE reports are settled if they have been entered. This indicator does not exclude documents from the settlement run.
