The subseries allows a subgrouping within one series of fiscal documents.

It is one group of fiscal documents that has one sequencially printed numbering.

It is also possible to use the fiscal documents without series, that means the company uses only one series.

The Nota Fiscal without series was called in the past 'Unica'.
