Definition

This parameter controls whether or not a provisional run takes place.

- The provisional run is used for open periods. The previous entry in
the historical table will be read to select the documents up to the
entered posting date.

Note: This run can never be 100% correct like the definitive one.
The reasons for that are:

- the period is open, so the user is able to post in this
like ever he wants
- the selection starts always from the previous entry up to
the entered posting date

- The definitive run is used for closed periods. All entries will be
deleted in the historical table for this company and fiscal period and
the entries will be created new and marked as definitive.

Note: It is not advisable to reopen a period and to post documents to
that period, after a definitive run. In this case, the listings
will be wrong for that period. A message is sent to delete the
the entries for the period, if a definitive run changes
