Definition

Denotes that the index value is definitive. Otherwise, it is considered to be provisional.

Procedure

If the authorities in your country only publish definitive values, select this indicator.

Otherwise, proceed as follows:

  1. When the provisional index value is published, enter it as normal but do not select this indicator.
  2. When the definitive inflation value is published, overwrite the provisional value with the definitive value, if it has changed, and select this indicator.

    The system then transfers the now obsolete provisional values to the three display fields on the right of the table, for reference only.
