Documentation
Definition
Specifies the number of decimal places in the inflation index as published by the authorities (accumulated format only).
Procedure
In some countries, the inflation figures are published in accumulated format with decimal places (for example, 1,234.56). However, the system only allows you to enter whole numbers in the accumulated index field.
To get around this, enter the number of decimal places used in the inflation index in this field (in the example, 2) and enter the inflation index value as a whole number by simply missing out the decimal point (for example, 123,456). The system then calculates the value automatically.
