Definition

Determines that the parallel processing facility is used for the output of SA release messages.

Use

If you select the indicator, the message records selected for SA release output purposes are processed in parallel instead of sequentially.

Prerequisites

You can only use the parallel processing if you execute the output of SA releases in the background.

If you wish to use this function, you must do the following in Customizing for Purchasing:

• Maintain the relevant logon group/server in the step Set Up Parallel Processing under Scheduling Agreement
• Select the Rel.Mess. indicator under Messages in the menu path Output Control -> Message Schemas -> Define Message Schemas for Scheduling Agreement Release/Expediter
