You can use this indicator to determine that one or more media issues can have the same ID code as the media product assigned.

Example

You want to assign a media issue the same ISBN that you have already assigned to the media product to which it belongs. This is only possible if this indicator is selected in the Customizing settings for the multiple usage type assigned to the ID code type ISBN.
