Use
If you use this indicator, qRFC is used when an order is transferred to the technical system using the Create/Save Ad Production Order and Create/Save Online Production Order functions.
If you do not select this indicator, tRFC is used.
qRFC is an enhancement to transactional RFC (tRFC) and in addition to the existing transactional security (unique execution guarantee of tRFC offers you serialization of LUWs (Logical Units of Work). In contrast to tRFC, qRFC therefore ensures that accesses are transferred to the technical system in a serialized form. This means that an older order update is always transferred to the technical system before a more recent one.
Notes
Additional information on the integration of technical systems is available in the Technical Interface IS-M/ITA, Integration of Technical Systems document, which is supplied in PDF format in the MITA directory of the SAP Media documentation CD.
Additional information on tRFC and qRFC is available in the online documentation for the SAP Web Application Server in the Remote Function Call section (BC-MID-RFC).
