Definition

By means of this indicator, you can control how the value date of an invoice is filled at invoice creation.

The value date is used as the baseline date for calculating the due date in Financial Accounting.

• If you select this indicator, the value date field is filled with the date at which the invoice is created (i.e. the system date).
• If you do not select this indicator, the value date field is filled with the billing date.

Note

This control is not used for the reversal of invoices. In this case, the value date is taken from the reversed invoice. If this field was not filled, the greater value is used from the reversal date (to be specified by the user) and the billing date of the reversed invoice.
