Definition
If this indicator is set, an organizational unit is used exclusively for the intensive care treatment of inpatients.
The indicator is only set for organizational units to which patients can be assigned as inpatients on a departmental or nursing basis.
It is used in evaluations pursuant to German statistical regulatory requirements in order to assign cases to pre-admission or post-discharge departments.
