Patient Accounting Germany
According to §14(2) BPflV, the departmental per diem must be reduced if surgical procedures surcharges are billed for.
By means of this indicator, you can control whether this discount is also to apply if the requesting departmental organizational unit of the departmental or intensive care per diem is not the same as the departmental requesting organizational unit of the surgical procedures surcharges.
- If you select this indicator, all departmental per diem or intensive care per diem charges are reduced when a procedures surcharge exists, irrespective of the requesting departmental organizational unit.
- If you do not select this indicator, the discount applies only if the departmental requesting organizational unit of the procedures surcharge is identical to that of the departmental per diem.
Note
Please refer to the corresponding activities in the Implementation Guide, by means of which you define the amount of the actual discount.
