Definition

Determines the increment in days, weeks or months for the memo record copy function.

If you select monthly as the increment, the system checks whether the planning date in the entered memo record is the last day of the month. If this is the case, there are two possibilities:

  • The entered date is in a month with 31 days. In this case the system sets all copies to the end of the month.
  • The entered date is in a month with less than 31 days. In this case the system queries you using a popup window on whether the copies are to be created by the end of the month or whether the day is to be transferred (for example, by entering February 28 the copies are set for March 28 and so on).

The following limitation applies to determining the end of the month:

  • If you specify that planning is not to be carried out on Saturday and Sunday, the system may push the determined date forward to the following Monday in order that the memo record is planned on the first or second of the following month. In some circumstances, two memo records, one at the beginning of the month and one at the end of the month, may be planned for the same month.
  • The increment you specify affects the planning date and also the expiration date if automatic expiration is defined for the planning type. The other fields with date entries in the memo record (payment advice),
  • Offsetting value date,
  • Statement date, and
  • Start date
  • are taken as is from the original record and must be manually maintained afterwards if necessary.
