Use
When you create an investment program position, the first characters in the position ID determine which coding mask is used for formatting the program position. The number of relevant first characters in the previous field. These characters then serve as a key for determining the coding mask.
You use this indicator to control the type of search for the coding mask.
- If you do not set the indicator, and the system does not find an appropriate coding mask, the number of relevant characters is reduced by 1, and the system searches again (generic search).
- If you set the indicator, the system searches for a coding mask with exactly the number of relevant characters that you entered.
