Documentation
Definition
Date for the end of the processing period.
Use
Consider the following:
- The processing time must be completely in the past.
- Ensure that it is not too close to the current time stamp so that the competing processing of claims is completed.
Otherwise, data sets for the interface to the reinsurance system could get lost.
This problem could occur in the following case, for example:
When a claim is changed, recording of the time stamp of the change falls in the processing period of this report. However, the database is not updated until after the end of this period. The result is that the change is not recorded by the report, meaning that it is lost.
