Grouping of business-related benefit types.

Use

You can use benefit type groups in the application to control the behavior of the relevant benefit types. For example, you can specify which benefit types are displayed in the input help for a certain claim item grouping or which benefit type is displayed by default.

In contrast, benefit type areas have no controlling function. You can only use benefit type areas for evaluations in reporting.
