Documentation
Definition
- If the switch is set for an owner, the previous status is recorded when changes are made to the configuration. This enables the owner to read the configuration data, for example, structure or evaluation, for any point in time.
- If the switch is not active, when a change is made, if no prospect has registered interest in the current status, the data is overwritten.
Once the old status has been overwritten, it is no longer possible to directly read that status.

Example
When configuring master data, it could be important to document the old status so that it can be read at any point in time. In this case, we recommend that you set the switch.
