Definition
Using this field, you can assign a fixed hierarchy level to a customer so that this customer master record always has the same (fixed) hierarchy level assignment for all hierarchy types when it is used as a hierarchy node. Only levels 01 to 10 can be assigned.
This field is only used in the transfer structures for controlling and the sales information system, that is, this 'fixed' level assignment need not correspond to the actual hierarchy level as not every node is relevant for CO/PA or SIS.
Sample hierarchy with level assignments:
Customer A
|
Customer B / Level 01
|
Customer C
|
Customer D / Level 02
Only nodes B and C are relevant for CO/PA or SIS. They are copied into the corresponding structures with the fixed levels 01 or 02.
