Alternative field identifier that can be specified for a user interface configuration and overwrites the standard identifier.

Use

You can use this field identifier to override the field identifier that the system automatically assigns.

Dependencies

The BAdI implementations of the HRTMC_DATA_RETRIEVAL enhancement spot provided by SAP return a field identifier for each field that can be used in a configuration.

Example

The BAdI implementation provided by SAP returns the Manager field identifier for the SAP_MANAGER field. If you enter Boss as the field identifier, boss overwrites the manager identifier when the data is displayed:

Display without configuration:    Manager: Michael Gold

Display with configuration:    Boss: Michael Gold
