Definition
The previous period describes the whole period between the initial entry date of an employee, and the start of the planning period.
If the PEINSPZTEF switch is not activated in table T77S0, the previous period starts on the first day of the month before the start of the planning period.
Note:
The system does not take the time recording indicator in the Planned Working Time infotype (0007), or the PDC recalculation date in the Payroll Status infotype (0003) into consideration.
Note
Selecting a previous period does not affect info columns containing data from function modules.
1st Case
Select previous-day indicator
If you select previous period, the following info column contents refer to this time period:
- Time type information
The contents of the time type entered here are displayed for the day before the start of the planning period, with the data taken from the Time Evaluation table, SALDO.
Refer to the Customizing entries for time types, with reference to the cumulation as a period balance, and the transfer from a time evaluation previous period (table T555a). - Wage type information
The contents of the wage type entered here are displayed for the day before the start of the planning period, with the data taken from the Time Evaluation table, ZL.
Cumulations must be shown in calculation rules in Time Evaluation.
2nd Case
Do not select previous-day indicator
If you do not select a previous period, the following info column contents refer to this time period:
- Function module information
Info column contents evaluated and displayed here are dependent on the definition of the function module. - Time type information
The status of table SALDO on the final day of the planning period is displayed here. - Wage type information
Wage types are cumulated and displayed in info columns, which are shown on a daily basis in the Time Evaluation table ZL.
Examples
Select the shift planning for the period from 15 June to 31 July.
In one information column, you want time values that were evaluated before 14 June.
Select Previous period for the defined information column, and enter the required time type in the Time type field.
The time balance is then displayed for the whole period, if the corresponding time type is defined in table T555a, Cumulate in period balance is selected, and Transfer previous period is selected.
This time type must also be available in Time Evaluation.
Procedure
To access time values that were evaluated before the start of the planning period, select Previous period.
