Definition

With the day number, you specify which day or assigned shift is to be used on the first day of the validity period for the shift sequence.

Use

Enter the day numbering for the desired sequence of defined shifts.
Specify in shift planning which shift or day number should be used for the first day of the validity period.

Procedure

Enter a number to specify the sequence of the shifts.

Make sure that a number does not oocur on more than one occasion in a sequence.

Examples

The employees of a shift group should work on a flextime basis between Monday and Thursday, and also be assigned an availabilty duty for Friday only.

The following shift abbreviation sequences are defined:

6 and 7    Saturday, Sunday        OFF

Result

If you assign an employee in shift planning on a Shift during period basis, and then select this sequence, the corresponding processing period is as follows:

  • The employee works on a flextime basis between Monday and Friday
  • The employee also works on a flextime basis on Friday, but also has an availability duty for this day
  • The employee is off work on Saturday and Sunday
