Use

In this field, you enter the amount that is valid for the cost item. One of the following cases occurs, depending on the editing mode you are in:

1. In store or change mode, you enter the amount to be proposed as default when the cost item is assigned to an object (when you create the Costs infotype for an object).
2. In the Costs infotype, you can overwrite the default value displayed in this field with a different value for the cost item if the direct price entry indicator has been set.
