Use
The workflow is activated in different places in the Implementation Guide for Position Budgeting and Control and works differently in each area.
- Area Automatic Commitment/Budget Creation
If you activate the field, the workflow is activated for an area of responsibility. If the workflow is activated for an area of responsibility and messages are issued in that area during the commitment run, the workflow is started for the object with errors. The user responsible for processing is determined in role definition of Position Budgeting and Control.
If the workflow is not activated for an area of responsibility, the objects with errors are processed by the run administrator workbench.
- Area Organizational Management for Public Services
The following happens if you select the field: When a processor delimits the holder link between an employee and a position, the note to be activated is not displayed immediately; the workflow is started first. The system determines the processor from the organizational structure. The prerequisite for this is that a person responsible for the position plan (or a responsible position) was entered for the position with the note when the organization plan (transaction PPOME) was maintained. If no person responsible for the position plan has been entered for a position, the message goes to the person entered in the IMG activity Define Administrator for Notes Workflow.
