Use
Takes effect when records already exist in the system for infotype Planned compensation (1005) that contain different data. In this case the program overwrites these values. If the record that already exists has a different validity period, it is separated. In the separated validity period the values stay the same.
Example
A record for infotype Planned compensation (1005) exists in the system for the validity period 01.01.2003 to 31.12.2003 and a record for infotype Evaluation Pay Scale (1501) for validity period 01.04.2003 to 31.12.2003.
If you have selected the field Overwrite Existing Records, after the conversion there will be two records for infotype Planned compensation (1005): the separated record with the validity period 01.01.2003 to 31.03.2003, that contains the values from the original infotype 1005 and a record with the validity period 01.04.2003 to 31.12.2003 that contains the values from infotype Evaluation Pay Scale (1501).
