Run variants that are flagged as Initial Run use the commitment period that was defined as a commitment period in the IMG activity Define Period for Automatic Commitment Creation

Dependencies

The run variant INITIAL must always be flagged as Initial Run.

Example

You have large volumes in your data and therefore want to execute initial commitment runs for the coming year in the current year. In this case you work with a (initial) run variant that is different to the active commitment period.
