Definition
The following options are available for evaluating the hours information of the shift abbreviations:
- Zero hours:
The shift abbreviation is not to be counted towards the working hours. You may want to use this for attendances that you want to be used as absences.
Example: "Employee assembly" is not to be counted towards the planned working time
- Actual hours:
The shift abbreviation is counted with the hours that result from the start and end time minus break times and overlapping absence times.
Example: An absence that has still to be counted with the specified hours.
- 1/5 weekly working time:
The shift abbreviation is counted with the number of hours corresponding to 1/5 of the weekly working time in the Planned Working Time infotype (0007), regardless of the predefined start and end times.
- Actual hours, if not off:
The shift is valuated with the entire working hours, provided that the day is not a day off. The system compares the old and new shift with the relevant day type (this may change if, for example, a user changes only the day type from "work" to "off", but does not change the shift.
- 1/5 of weekly working time, if not off:
The shift abbreviation is counted as in point 3 with one fifth of the weekly working time, if the day type is not 0 (day off).
If the day is a day off, zero hours are counted.
- Original shift:
The shift abbreviation is counted with the hours that correspond to the original shift or the last substitution.
This specification can be used for leave, for example, if the hours of the shift that has been overwritten are to be used.
- Original shift if not off:
The shift abbreviation is counted as in point 6 with the hours of the original shift or the last substitution.
This specification can be used for leave, for example, if the hours of the shift that has been overwritten are to be used unless the day is a day off (day type other than 0).
Example: You do not want leave on a day off to increase the planned working hours.
- Ignore:
The shift abbreviation is not to affect the hours counted. That is, a shift is not changed by an overlapping abbreviation, unlike in point 1 (zero hours), where shifts are reduced.
Example: You do not want a partial-day absence, "Ill", as an additional shift to change the planned working hours.
- Original hours reduced to employment percentage
Used for attendances and absences if there is also a full-time dummy shift plan for all employees. The attendance or absence is valuated with the hours of the original shift, taking account of whether the shift is the dummy from infotype 0007 or a substitution from infotype 2003. The "dynamic daily work schedule" indicator in infotype 0007 is also taken into account.
Notes:
There is a weighting factor for further reduction for each option in the T7PBS_ADHOC_3 and T7PBS_ADHOC_4 Customizing tables.
