Use
This field contains the four-character code of the infotype you want to create or process.
Procedure
Use this field to enter the four-digit code of the infotype you want to create or process. When creating infotypes, make sure that you adhere to the namespace conventions. In other words, you must use codes from the 9nnn namespace for your own infotypes.
Note
Please note that you must create infotype-specific structure HRI9nnn before creating an infotype.
Examples
- If you want to process an existing "Description" infotype (1002):
- Enter 1002.
- If you want to create a new infotype:
- You have created structure HRI9nnn. Now enter 9nnn as the infotype code.
