Procedure
Specify the date rule which the system is to use to determine the date which is currently the last planned billing date in the billing plan.
Use
The date rule is made up of a baseline date and a time period. The current date is always the baseline date for determining the horizon. The system adds on the time period to the baseline date to determine the horizon for the billing plan.
Example
Billing plan for a maintenance contract for a turbine
Date rule: One year
Baseline date: Today's date 06/30/96
Time period: + one year 06/30/97
The system calculates that the horizon for this billing plan is 30 June 1997.
Note
The horizon is not to be confused with the billing plan end date.
