Documentation
Definition
Payment method of the paying house bank for account transfers.
Use
This payment method, together with the country , relates to the paying company code.
With the following search strategy the bank clearing account for the receiving house bank is determined: the account ID, the currency and the payment method can all be masked (meaning remain blank), meaning access is made in the following steps:
- With complete key
- Then without an account ID
- Then without a currency with account ID set
- Then without an account ID and without a currency
- Finally without an account ID, a currency or a payment method.
The clearing account is determined in the case of each of the five steps first with the country of the paying company code, and afterwards without the country (as the entry of the country is only necessary for cross-country bank account transfers).
