Leading currency defines the direction of currency conversion for swaps.
Use
You use the leading currency for FX swaps between two foreign currencies. The system calculates the amount in functional currency beginning with the currency specified as leading currency.
Dependencies
Example
You exchange 100.00 GBP into 120.00 USD. You have maintained EUR as the functional currency for the MCA variant assigned to this company code in Customizing activity Maintain MCA Variants. Specifying USD as the leading currency, the system calculates 110.00 EUR from the USD amount.
