Definition

Specifying a weighting key for an operand means that the operand is prorated according to the corresponding weighting procedure in the case of prorations originating externally during billing (such as a change in tax). Currently this is only possible for operands of the following categories: TQUANT, QUANT and AMOUNT.

If no weighting key is specified, the entire value of the operand in the most recent time slice is used.

Example:

A consumption of 200 kWh is recorded in the installation facts and is to be billed. The billing period is from 1/1/1997 to 2/28/1997. On 2/1, a change is made to the tax.

If no weighting key was specified for the corresponding operand, the entire 200 kWh from 2/1 to 2/28 are valid and are valuated with the price and tax that are valid for this time.

The specification of a weighting key results in a breakdown, for example, of 105 kWh for January and 95 kWh for February.

Use

Customer-specific modification of the fixed weighting procedure

Use

Summarizes parameters that are required for weighting consumption values and determining the expected consumption.

Dependencies

You enter the weighting keys, which are defined in Customizing, in the following cases:
