Definition
Defines how planned orders are to be firmed in repetitive manufacturing.
Use
The following options are available:
- planned orders are never firmed
You choose this setting if planned orders for production quantities that you have assigned to a row in the planning table should not be firmed for MRP. These planned orders will therefore be changed in the next MRP planning run.
- planned orders are always firmed
You choose this setting if planned orders for production quantities that you have assigned to a row in the planning table should be firmed for MRP. These planned orders will not be changed in the next MRP planning run. You know a planned order has been firmed if the firming indicator is set in the details screen for the planned order.
- only planned orders that lie within the planning time fence are firmed
