Definition
If the quotation currency of the determined market price is not equal to the position currency, the system translates from quotation currency to position currency using the rate type.
If the field is empty, the system uses the rate type M (standard translation at average rate) used in the security valuation. You can overwrite this selection by filling the field.
Note: The system takes the rate type for translation to valuation currency from Customizing "Assign Accounting Codes and Valuation Areas" and is completely independent of the rate type for translation from quotation currency to position currency.
