Definition
You use this indicator to specify whether the Minimum Stock Level and Maximum Stock Level fields are to be used as time-dependent information. This specifies that a field that does not contain a value and therefore does not override the default values that you want to use.
You use this indicator for the minimum and maximum stock levels to define whether the system is to interpret the value entered as:
- An absolute value
- An additive value
- A subtractive value
- A percentage
If you enter additive and subtractive values, or a percentage, the change is relative to the basic value stored in the master record for the material and plant or in the layout modules.
Use
You can enter a value in this field if you want to maintain alternative minimum and maximum stock levels for promotion time periods.
Dependencies
Time-dependent minimum and maximum stock levels for promotions are not used in SAP ERP.
Time-dependent minimum and maximum stock levels for promotions are used in replenishment planning in SAP F&R only if you activate the link to SAP F&R. You do this in Customizing under Integration with Other SAP Components -> Forecasting and Replenishment -> Maintain Basic Settings for Data Transfer in the screen area General Interface Activation.
