Documentation
Definition
Use
By entering a due date, you stipulate the time (period and fiscal year) as of which the budget is earmarked. This date is often a controlling character.
Procedure
Examples
For example, if you assign to an order, this date determines the time at which the commitment is generated.
Dependencies
In Funds Management, the due date only has controlling effect if you have stipulated in the update profile that the due date is to be included in the period assignment of commitment data for the relevant value types.
