Documentation
Definition
If your communication structure is an IDoc type, then mark it as IDoc.
This enhances your LIS inbound interface with IDoc parts (function modules).
Use
You can then transfer your data to the IDoc interface. It is then automatically imported from there to the Logistics Information System (LIS).
In the standard SAP R/3 system, the message type 'LIS000' has been established for the transfer to IDoc interface.
If your communication structure is an IDoc type, you then need to indicate the transfer type in a further step.
